Vintage Ercol Type 248 Vintage Armchair, Bedroom Chair, Hall Chair, Sitting Room Chair, Statement Chair

This pretty Ercol Type 248 part upholstered arm chair is a real statement piece and will make a splash in any hall, living room or even bedroom. The chair has been completely freshly re-upholstered in this fabulous floral grey and gold fabric, using fire retardant materials. The floral fabric is on the front of the chair back, and the top of the Kidney shaped cushion, with a deep grey fabric covering the back and underside of the cushion, and providing the contrast piping. New webbing has also been used, in line with the vintage chair. The kidney shaped seat cushion is to prevent it slipping off the chair when sat in. The wood has been cleaned and undercoated, and then painted in Fusion Mineral Paint ‘Ash’ with ‘Gold’ to highlight the arm rest struts and to bring out the gold in the fabric.

The overall dimensions are 66 cm at its widest, 63 cm at its deepest and 62 cm high. The seat dimensions are W – 56cm; D – 47 cm and H from ground – 43 cm.

The paint is Fusion Mineral Paint in Black. Fusion Mineral Paint is very low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s).

To care for this piece, the wood can be wiped with a microfiber cloth regularly.
